Salamanca es una ciudad versátil. Detrás de sus innumerables atractivos culturales, turísticos y gastronómicos, encierra diferentes tesoros para los más pequeños. -Podéis comenzar con un paseo por el casco antiguo descubriendo los detalles labrados en las fachadas de los monumentos. Podéis hacerlo mediante juegos “Salamanca en detalles” que se ofertan de forma gratuita –bajo disponibilidad- en la Oficina de Turismo. Explorad la rana en la fachada de la Universidad, el astronauta y otras figuras fantásticas -como un mono comiendo un helado o una cigüeña- en la puerta de Ramos de la Catedral.
-Posteriormente, podéis acercaros al Monumenta Salmanticae, en la Iglesia de San Millán, calle Veracruz, donde se encuentra un Centro de Interpretación del Patrimonio de la ciudad con una gran maqueta del casco histórico sobre la que se proyecta un video show con explicaciones más sencillas para los niños y monitores táctiles.
-Otro de los atractivos es el Museo de Art Nouveau y Art Déco que contiene una curiosa colección de muñecas de porcelana, muñecos autómatas y juguetes que a los niños les encantará. Además está ubicada en un edificio modernista con vidrieras de colores.

-Asimismo, el Museo de Historia de la Automoción será un suculento “caramelo” para los pequeños amantes del motor. Cuenta con un espacio expositivo con más de 200 vehículos, documentos y accesorios relacionados con el automóvil.

- Finalmente, en el Museo del Comercio y la Industria podréis admirar los inventos e innovaciones que en otro tiempo resolvieron los problemas de fabricantes, vendedores y consumidores.
Podéis visitar esto museos dando un relajante paseo, o por el contario, podéis utilizar el tren turístico –que parte de la Plaza de Anaya-. Si hace buen tiempo, podéis acercaros hasta el embarcadero -que está entre el puente de hierro y el romano- para caminar por la ribera del río o dar un paseo en barca por el Tormes o disfrutar de las amplias zonas ajardinadas con las que la ciudad cuenta –como el Parque de La Alamedilla.
